Terms, Cancellation, Refunds, & More

Overview

Before making a sale, we try to be as transparent as possible with answering your questions, and giving you an understanding of what you are buying.  Please refer to the product pages, and our FAQ for general answers to the most common questions.  Please find further information on the topics below.


Changes to orders & Cancellation Requests

  • Because we do work quickly to fulfill orders, any requests to change, or cancel an order MUST be made within TWO hours of placing your order.
    • Requests AFTER that time period may, or may not be granted depending on if we have already started your order.

 

Returns / Refunds

  • Because our products are personalized, they cannot be altered or re-used.  For this reason, we DO NOT offer returns or refunds on personalized products of which we fulfilled the order correctly as submitted to us.
    • If The Gifted Oak was at fault for incorrectly fulfilling an order, we will send you a replacement product free of charge, or give you a refund if that is what you want instead.  You will NOT have to return the original product that was sent to you.


Lost and Late Shipments

  • In the event a shipment is delayed by the shipping company, please give the carrier and extra day or two to see if the package turns up.  We have found in multiple cases that packages will get marked as ‘delivered’ but they are still at the local post office, and get delivered within the next 1-2 days.  This happens more often at holiday time.
  • If a package has not moved for days, please contact USPS to inquire about tracking.  There are instances where we can also assist with this depending on where the last tracking data shows.
  • If an order is indeed lost, the customer will be able to decide if they want a replacement product sent, or a refund.
  • Please note, we will NOT resend a package free of charge if an incorrect address was submitted on the order. 

 

Sale items

  • Items may periodically go on sale, depending on inventory levels, market conditions, etc.  If a sale ends, we do not offer price matching after the sale has ended.
